Seminars
Any special requirements - can we help?
TLT wishes to welcome and support clients and visitors with disabilities.
We have taken positive steps to ensure that, wherever possible, a person with a disability is not put at a disadvantage when instructing us, visiting us or working with us.
We set some of these steps out below but if there is any other way that you think we could help you, please ask the person dealing with your matter or the reception staff.
Communicating
We have a portable 'T' loop to be used in meetings or seminars - it is helpful if you contact us to book this in advance.
If you use British Sign Language then we can provide a BSL interpreter provided we have at least two days notice.
Braille - our terms of business are printed in Braille and any other document can be transcribed within four days or sent to you on tape.
Information and correspondence can be printed in large font on appropriate paper.
Using our building
Working with the owners of the building we have made sure that we provide:
- Wheelchair access
- Parking for disabled clients
- Disabled toilets
- Clear signage including spoken information in the lifts
Generally
We have looked at our policies and procedures and changed them where necessary to ensure that we comply with the Disability Discrimination Act in spirit as well as in practice.
There may be other ways we can help or you may have comments about what we have done already. If so, please contact Sarah Joyce who will be happy to help.
