Remuneration Planning 2010

Updated May 2010

With the world still an uncertain place, companies have a lot on their plate. One issue being raised by executives and high earners is how best to structure remuneration in light of the current high rate and low relief tax regime.

In our view, companies should be thinking about the potential benefits of using salary sacrifice, EFRBS (Employer Financed Retirement Benefit Schemes) and employee share plans. No one solution will fit for all companies, however, Finance and HR teams will find it useful to understand more about the options available.
