Recent highlights for the Corporate team include:

• Advising one of the UK's leading retail groups, WHSmith Plc, on its acquisition of 22 stores and intellectual property from British Bookshops and Stationers Ltd (in administration). Completed 8 February 2011.
• Advising international real estate advisor Savills on the acquisition of the niche London commercial property and retail agency Thomas Davidson & Partners completed 28 January 2011.
• Advising the shareholders of Sharp's Brewery Ltd on its sale to leading global brewer Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Ltd for £20 million. Sharp's is the largest brewer of cask conditioned beer in the South West and their cask ale brand Doom Bar is the number one selling cask ale brand in the South West and Wales and the fastest growing cask brand in Greater London. Completed 28 January 2011.
• Advising TUI Travel Plc on the Thomson al Fresco disposal completed 13th January 2011 and also the acquisition of Lima Tours completed 21st January 2011.
