Richard is a partner in the Corporate team and specialises in acquisitions and disposals, acting for a range of clients from listed public companies to owner managed businesses. He has a particular interest in the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), dealing with admissions, fundraisings, acquisitions and ongoing obligations. Richard has advised Indian clients in respect of securities issued by Lehman Brothers, and for financial institutions and others looking to raise funds in the UK for Indian and other foreign businesses.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Richard was an officer in the Royal Navy, serving most of his time in the submarine service.

Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and is recommended as a 'Leader in the Field' of Corporate/M&A law by leading legal guide Chambers UK.
