Richard is a partner in our London office, with wide-ranging experience in general banking matters. He has particular expertise in property finance and issues relating to cross-border lending and security.

He acts for a range of British and foreign banks, as well as borrowers, with particular experience advising Indian clients investing in the UK and abroad. Richard is also recognised by Chambers Asia for the vast amount of "India-related transactions under his belt".

Richard has worked for leading law firms in the City of London, together with periods in Dublin and Frankfurt and as a senior in-house lawyer with Barclays Bank plc.

He qualified in 1995 in England and Wales and is also qualified in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
