Practice director at TLT, Steve is responsible for all operational aspects of the business with specific responsibility for financial management. His role ensures an active part in the running of the firm and requires attendance at partners, strategic business development and operational board meetings. A Chartered Accountant for 10 years, Steve has gained considerable experience in private practice and industry. Roles in practice have included providing general business consultancy to owner managed businesses from financial restructuring, finance raising, growth planning and tax/exit strategies. Early industry experience was gained being the Finance Director of a timber merchant. 

To improve his business solutions capability, Steve completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Bath with distinction and the dissertation receiving a national award. TLT sponsored Steve through the programme. He has previously won the 'Best Achiever in Business' award at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Regional Awards 2004.
