Richard Hayllar enters the rankings having impressed commentators with his banking litigation expertise

Richard is a partner in the Banking & Financial Services Litigation team.

He has a great deal of experience in acting for major retail banks, both as claimant and defendant, in complex and high value litigation. Richard advises on complex recoveries and issues involving bank security; contractual disputes; litigation arising from individual and corporate insolvency; and reputational issues, including fraud and allegations of discrimination. Richard also has experience of working in-house in the legal department of a major retail bank.

Richard qualified in 2001 and joined TLT in October 2008 from CMS Cameron McKenna where he was a senior solicitor.

He is recommended as a 'Leader in the Field' of banking litigation in legal guide Chambers UK .
