Sadly, partner and part time Recorder Richard Flowerdew died on 22 June 2009 after a period of illness.

Richard was an excellent lawyer who was widely respected for his vigorous pursuit of his client's case. He had been directly responsible for the recruitment and development of a number of excellent lawyers within the firm and a mentor and example to many more.

Richard was a great man to have on your side and he is missed.
