Maria Connolly

Maria is a partner in the Real Estate group and head of TLT's Renewable Energy team. She has significant expertise in the renewable energy sector, acting for lenders and developers in connection with a significant number of wind-farm, solar/PV schemes and other renewable energy projects. Maria provides strategic advice on the structuring of transactions, drafting and negotiating key documents, due diligence and funding issues. 

Maria also has significant experience in dealing with the property aspects of corporate insolvencies, including fixed charge receivers, administrations and acting for lenders in connection with both property finance, mortgage book transfers and recoveries.

She has expertise in portfolio management for corporate clients in various sectors, including retail, industrial, and minerals and aggregates.

Maria qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and became a partner in 2007. As training principal she is also responsible for TLT's trainees.
