John, a partner and head of the Corporate Finance team, specialises in acquisitions, disposals and venture capital investments. He has a particular interest in the technology & media and sport & retail sectors. 

Recent deals on which John has worked include:

• advising the vendors on the sale of Cyclescheme Limited to Grassroots Plc
• advising Tamura Limited on its acquisition of Romarsh Limited
• advising World Snooker on the sale of its commercial eights to Matchroom Sports Limited

John was lead advisor on the 2009 Insider Dealmaker "Deal of the Year", the acquisition of £140 million turnover Stonegate Farmers Ltd.

John qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined the firm in 1999.
