Living Together

"Thank you so much for your wonderful help, advice and support."

- Client quote

Currently, relationships outside marriage have no legal status in England and Wales. Although the issues that arise on separation are similar to those on marriage breakdown, the legal remedies are very different. If unmarried partners separate, they must rely on complicated property and trust law to establish ownership of the various homes and other assets.

This is a complex area of law and we have nationally recognised niche specialists who advise on all aspects of living together. We can draft agreements and co-ownership deeds and, in the event of separation, advise on legal rights and the various options available to you.
