Finance Litigation

TLT’s Finance Litigation team acts for major UK and international banks, funds and financial institutions on a wide range of contentious matters. These include corporate, commercial and investment banking disputes including structured product and derivative related disputes, contentious regulatory and insolvency matters, marine recoveries and trade finance litigation, professional negligence and breach of warranty claims and fraud matters.

The City based team has extensive experience of acting in international multi-jurisdictional disputes and works closely with our office in Piraeus which acts for many of the world's leading marine finance banks. TLT is a member of the European Law Firm alliance and has an established network of lawyers globally.

The team’s core services are:

  • Litigation and all other forms of dispute resolution including arbitration, adjudication, mediation and negotiation;
  • Advice on FSA related contentious regulatory issues - including investigations and enforcement action; and
  • Risk management advice across a range of products and processes using the experience we have accumulated while acting for our clients.
