TLT welcomes new trainee talent
27 April 2008
Award-winning, top 100 law firm TLT welcomes six new trainee solicitors to the firm's training scheme.
Each trainee will spend six months in a different 'seat' or specialist team, getting first hand experience of law in action and advising and dealing with TLT's clients under expert supervision. This year's trainees will initially join TLT's Commercial Property, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Family, Banking and Asset Finance, Social Housing and Commercial teams and will be based in both the Bristol and London offices.
The firm has a total of 22 trainee solicitors currently working through their two-year training contracts. TLT's commitment to excellence ensures trainees benefit from a well-developed and challenging training programme. The firm's training scheme has a high retention rate and in 2007 all qualifying trainees chose to stay with TLT.
Rhea Ramatour one of this year's intake of trainees explains why she chose TLT "Having worked at the firm's London office for a year prior to applying, I experienced first-hand the friendly, forward thinking atmosphere at TLT. This, coupled with the firm's growth and increasing presence in the London market, made me want to continue my career with TLT".
TLT's training principal and partner Philip May says, "At TLT we understand that our trainees are the future of our business. We recruit the best people and invest in them throughout their careers to ensure that they are able to fulfil their full potential. Our commitment to our trainees is clear from our excellent retention rates. I'm delighted to welcome Rhea Ramoutar, Rachel Webb, Laura Hawker, Victoria MacKinnon, David Hobbs, and Mark Stockdale to TLT."
