TLT announces partner and associate promotions

16 May 2011

TLT has promoted four associates to partner and 10 solicitors to associate in the firm's annual promotions.

Banking & financial services litigation lawyers Neil Franklin, Richard Hayllar and Deborah Sheldon and construction lawyer Neel Mehta have been promoted to partner.

The new associates are Megan Asquith and Philip Collis in the firm's commercial property team; Vanessa Eyre in the tax & estate planning team; Richard Hall, Sarah Harding, Peter Richards-Gaskin and Miranda Thomas in the banking & financial services litigation team; Vicky Mabbett and Jo Pritchard in the commercial team; and Antonia Silvestri in the corporate team.

TLT's HR Director, Graham de Guise, says, "TLT is recognised as one of the top employers in the legal profession. We actively invest in the personal and professional growth and development of our people and doing so has massive benefits for our staff, the firm and our clients."

Half of the promotions have been made in the firm's banking & financial services litigation team which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. Jonathan Hoey, head of banking & financial services litigation says, "In the last year the team has grown to meet client needs after several new appointments. I'm delighted with the promotions within the team which, combined with several key lateral partner hires, provide TLT with an enviable breadth of expertise in the financial services sector."

The news comes after a successful 12 months for the firm in which it was named as one of the top five UK legal employers by legal trade publication, Legal Week and was accredited as a Best Company to work for 2011 by Best Companies Limited who carry out the research for the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list.
