TLT advises Triodos Renewables on £15million share issue

National law firm TLT is advising one of the UK's leading independent renewable energy companies, Triodos Renewables Plc, on its prospectus to raise up to £15million to invest in new renewable energy projects, including a number of on shore wind farms which it has under option.

TLT's corporate team, led by partner Richard Tall, advised Triodos Renewables on the issue of the prospectus inviting members of the public and existing shareholders to invest in the company.

Richard Tall says "This is a significant fundraising opportunity for Triodos Renewables Plc and will help the business finance major growth in the renewable energy market. Triodos Renewables and Triodos Bank are both longstanding TLT clients and we're delighted to be working with them on their share issue."

This is the third prospectus that TLT has completed for Triodos Renewables, the previous one happening in 2008. TLT is currently advising the business on the acquisition of a number of early stage windfarm sites, including on their financing, construction and grid connection, to support Triodos Renewables' principal activity, which is the acquisition, construction and long-term management of small to medium scale (1–25 MW) renewable energy projects.
