TLT advises Triodos on move to new green headquarters

National law firm TLT has advised Triodos Bank, a global leader in ethical and sustainable banking, on its move to its new headquarters within one of the greenest office developments in the country.

The ethical bank has leased 26,500 sq ft over five floors at WestOne in Bristol. WestOne is recognised as one of the greenest offices in the UK for its innovative design and building methods. It has received an 'excellent’ rating by BREEAM, the most widely used environmental assessment method in the world.

The team at TLT, led by property partner Maria Connolly who also heads TLT's renewables focus, advised Triodos Bank on the negotiation of the lease. Maria Connolly says; "I am delighted to have advised the bank in relation to this exciting move. The building's green credentials are a great fit with the bank's ethical and sustainable principles."

TLT also acts for Triodos Bank in connection with a wide range of ethical, sustainable and renewable energy projects. Most recently, TLT's renewables team acted for the bank in relation to the financing of the wind turbines at Africa Alive safari park in Kessingland, Suffolk.
