TLT advises on wind farm acquisition

National law firm TLT has advised the Ampere Equity Fund, managed by Triodos Investment Management in the Netherlands, on the acquisition of 50% of Carraig Gheal Wind Farm in Scotland. 

The wind farm, which is the first on shore wind farm for Ampere in the UK, will consist of 20 wind turbine generators with a total generating capacity of 46 MW, and will provide power for the equivalent of more than 25,000 homes. The site is being developed by GreenPower, an independent developer of wind and hydro power projects.

TLT has leading expertise in the renewables sector and provided legal advice relating to the acquisition and joint venture arrangements for the wind farm project.
