TLT advises Nisbets Plc on £15+million brownfield site investment

TLT has acted for Nisbets Plc, the UK's largest supplier of catering equipment and clothing, in its £15+million acquisition and redevelopment of a new nine acre brownfield site in Avonmouth.

TLT's team, which was led by property specialist Andrew Glynn and construction specialist Simon Goss, advised the company on its multi-million pound acquisition of the new site at the Access 18 industrial park in Avonmouth.

Following the acquisition, the brownfield site is being redeveloped by St Modwen Properties Plc, whom specialise in the regeneration of brownfield and urban environments. The redevelopment will include the construction of a 165,000 sq ft distribution centre, which will incorporate 23,000 sq ft of offices and a 68,000 sq ft mezzanine floor. Completion of the new facility is scheduled for Summer 2008. The acquisition, construction and fit out represents a £15+million investment by Nisbets.
