TLT accredited by Sunday Times in Best Companies research

National law firm TLT has been recognised as one of the best companies to work for in the UK. The firm has been named a 'first class' employer by Best Companies Limited, the company which carries out the research for The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list.

Out of the thousands of applicants, TLT is one of only 16 law firms in the country that has received an accreditation this year.

Best Companies accreditation, which follows the elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system, recognises organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. The rankings are based on employee feedback, with each company receiving a score which determines their rating.

Over 60% of TLT staff were asked to complete questionnaires measuring the firm on eight 'workplace factors', including 'Leadership', 'My Manager', 'My Team', 'My Company' and 'Personal Growth'. TLT was awarded 1 star 'first class' status. 
 
TLT scored its highest result for the 'My Company' factor which measures how much people value their company and how proud they are to work there.

TLT's HR Director, Graham de Guise says, "This accreditation is important as it reflects the opinions of staff at TLT. To see that they are proud to work for TLT is a great achievement for the firm and it will certainly help in our efforts to retain and attract talent, something that will be more prevalent over the next 12-18 months as the market picks up."

This success builds on a great year for the firm which has been named as one of the most innovative law firms in Europe at the Financial Times' Innovative Lawyers Awards 2010 as well as being named one of the top five UK legal employers by Legal Week magazine.
