"Go-getting" TLT praised by legal guide for law students
15 November 2010
TLT has received an outstanding report from its own trainee solicitors in one of the leading guides of UK law firms aimed at students. The newly published Chambers Student Guide praises the firm's growing presence in the City stating that "this go-getting Bristol firm has now become a go-getter in London too".
TLT's trainees were extremely positive. One stated that the "ambitious" nature of the firm is one of its "defining characteristics" while another praised the focus on "exceeding client expectations”.
TLT's HR Director Graham de Guise says, "These results reflect the first-rate opportunities and working environment available to trainees. We work hard to cultivate a culture which provides trainees with all they need to forge a successful career. I'm delighted our trainees would recommend the firm to their future peers".
The Chambers Student Guide is an annual review of the legal marketplace aimed specifically at law students who are looking at applying for training contracts. The guide gives students an unbiased insight into over 125 law firms and conducts anonymous in-depth interviews with current trainees to get a real reflection of what it is like to work at TLT.
The publication of the Chambers Student Guide comes just weeks after another guide for students, The Lex 100 was published. The guide gave a glowing report labelling TLT as a "modern, progressive firm with a growing reputation" and declaring it a "perfect fit for trainees".
