TLT offers roles to 100% of qualifying trainees
06 September 2010
TLT has offered permanent positions to 100% of its qualifying trainee solicitors, making it one of only a handful of the UK's top 100 law firms to offer jobs to all of its trainees qualifying in September 2010.
Ashley Borthwick, Robert Dyson, Claire Kershaw and Iain Taylor are all being retained by the firm when they qualify in September. They will join TLT's regulatory, corporate recovery & insolvency, professional negligence, and commercial teams which are based across the firm's Bristol and new City offices at 20 Gresham Street. One qualifying trainee is relocating outside of the area and is unable to join TLT.
TLT's HR Director, Graham de Guise, comments, "TLT is committed to investing in staff development at every level. Some law firms have struggled to maintain high levels of trainee retention in recent years so I'm delighted that we've once again offered roles to 100% of our qualifying trainees. Our trainees play an important role in the future of our business and it's great to know they genuinely enjoy working with TLT and want to continue to develop their careers with the firm."
TLT was recently named as one of the top five UK legal employers by legal trade publication, Legal Week in its employee satisfaction report 2010. The report was based on a survey of non-partner solicitors at the top 75 law firms in England and Wales and the top 10 US firms in London. TLT was ranked fourth overall in the survey which asked solicitors to rate their firm in all aspects of their working lives including career development, quality of work and salary and benefits.
