TLT named a 'best legal employer' by Legal Week

National law firm TLT has been named as one of the top five UK legal employers in Legal Week magazine's Employee Satisfaction Report 2010. The influential publication, which is one of the UK's leading legal weeklies, asked non-partner solicitors at the top 75 law firms in England and Wales along with the top 10 US firms in London to rate their firm in all aspects of their working lives including career development, quality of work and salary and benefits. 

TLT was ranked fourth overall in the survey. TLT got the highest scores of all firms surveyed for work/life options, work/life reality (jointly with another firm), and also for location following the firm's investment in brand new, light and spacious premises in the heart of the City at 20 Gresham Street. The move to new premises has effectively doubled TLT's capacity in London whilst reducing the firm's cost base in the capital.

TLT also scored particularly highly in the survey for its culture, collegiality, and for its flexible benefits, which include health insurance, Ride 2 Work cycle scheme, and childcare vouchers amongst others.

In its report, Legal Week states that TLT respondents "give very good scores for some of the most important parts of the survey….The mark of 8.4 [out of a possible 10] for work/life balance is one of the highest in the survey and easily outstrips the overall average score of 7.0."
