TLT makes partner and associate-level promotions

TLT has promoted one associate to Partner and 11 other employees to associate-level in the firm's annual promotions. 

Ben Watson, who is head of Employee Incentives within the firm's award-winning and nationally recognised Employment, Pensions and Incentives group, became a partner at TLT from 1st May 2009.

Ben advises a wide range of clients from start-ups to FTSE listed companies about the design, implementation and operation of employee share plans, flexible benefit plans, bonus arrangements and employee trusts. He also advises pension funds on investment management matters. Ben has practised in the field of incentives and pensions for nine years. He is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Organisation, the Association of Pensions Lawyers and he holds a Masters Diploma in Pensions Law.

TLT has also promoted 11 individuals to associate-level with effect from 1st May 2009. In its associate-level promotions TLT recognises one Legal Executive, one Team Manager and two Assistant Managers as well as seven practising Solicitors. Those being promoted include Legal Executive Helen Williams (banking and financial services litigation); Team Manager Rebecca Kibby (banking and lender services); Assistant Managers Jamie Birkinshaw (banking and lender services) and Sarah Vance (banking and lender services); and the Solicitors who have been promoted to Associate are Siân Ashton (commercial dispute resolution), Alison Blades (real estate), Catherine Cain (banking and financial services litigation), Paul Gair (banking and financial services litigation), Alice Gardner (corporate finance), Alex Heath (corporate finance), and Christian Silk (planning and environment).

TLT's Senior Partner Robert Bourns comments, "TLT looks for and seeks to develop people's talents, enabling them to achieve their personal and professional goals while meeting client needs innovatively, efficiently and cost-effectively."

Promotions are recommended by TLT's Promotions Committee and are subject to a rigorous assessment process.
