"A force to be reckoned with" TLT receives outstanding feedback in independent UK law firm guide

National law firm TLT has been praised for its "excellent, personable service" and "good solid, dependable advice" by Chambers UK 2012, an independent guide to the UK legal market which was published today.
The guide, which is compiled using unattributed feedback from clients and peer firms, labels TLT as "a force to be reckoned with".
TLT's expertise in the retail sector has been newly recognised with the guide describing the firm as "increasingly a presence" in the sector.
TLT has specialist expertise in the retail industry and advises on issues such as retail business structures, systems and IT, supply chain management, warehousing and distribution, outsourcing, brand management, human resources and estate management. Current clients include WHSmith, The Co-operative Group and TUI Travel.
TLT's head of retail Perran Jervis said; "This ranking is an indication of the firm's growing national reputation advising major names in the retail industry, I'm delighted that this has been independently recognised by Chambers."
Overall TLT has been recognised in 28 practice areas and has secured first tier rankings in eight of those, specifically banking litigation, employment, family/matrimonial, information technology licensing, partnership, restructuring/insolvency and social housing.
The firm has 35 lawyers recognised as experts in their specialist areas. Newly ranked individuals for TLT include banking litigation expert Richard Hayllar, competition expert Miles Trower and family experts Natalie Drew and David Wheeler.
Chambers UK is an annual guide to the UK legal sector and used by buyers of legal services. It ranks solicitors and barristers in over 60 specialist areas of law based on information provided by clients, colleagues and competitors. Firms are assessed on technical legal ability, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client.
