Financial Times’ Innovative Lawyers Report (the report by the national newspaper is based on 600 submissions, 690 interviews and more than six months of research of law firms throughout Europe):

• Ranked 70th in the magazine’s annual survey of the top 100 law firms (2009).

South West Regional Development Agency’s Beacon Awards (SWRDA leads the development of a sustainable economy in the South West. Beacon is a key initiative of SWRDA, which recognises the region’s most ambitious businesses):

• Awarded Beacon Company Status for outstanding results in performance, innovation and growth (2007).

British Legal Awards (annual awards from leading publication Legal Week):

• David Pester won Managing Partner of the Year (2007).

Bristol Law Society Awards (annual awards from the Law Society representing the legal community in Bristol and the South West):

• TLT Partner Tim Pyper received Lifetime Achievement in law for legal practitioner (2009).

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) President’s Prize (annual student awards from the professional body for the trust and estate profession worldwide):

• Maureen Morgan, who is now an Associate in TLT’s Tax and Estate Planning team, won Qualified Practitioner Student of the Year (2009).

South West Deal Awards (annual awards for recognising corporate finance success in the South West sponsored by the regional newspaper Western Daily Press):

• TLT partner Andrew Webber won Young Dealmaker of the Year (2008).
• Awarded Corporate Law Firm of the Year (2007).

Legal Marketing Awards (annual awards recognising excellence in the provision and implementation of strategic marketing solutions in the legal profession):
