1. The Financial Times rates TLT as one of the most innovative law firms in Europe whilst The Sunday Times names TLT amongst the top employers in the country.

2. Initial figures indicate that TLT's turnover for 2010/11 is £43.3 million. The firm's turnover has more than tripled since 2002.

3. TLT is a national law firm servicing clients throughout the UK and internationally, including at least 34 FTSE listed companies and other leading organisations. 60% of the firm's business comes from outside of its historic roots in the South West region.

4. 65% of TLT's turnover is from its chosen industry sectors, which include the financial services, leisure, retail, technology & media, housing, renewables and public sectors.

5. In 2010, TLT invested in award-winning office space in the City enabling the firm to extend its service offering and further develop its capability in London. TLT's new office is the flagship for the firm's Financial Services practice, offering expertise in banking litigation, professional negligence litigation, financial services regulation, banking and asset finance, ship finance, corporate recovery and insolvency, as well as commercial property, social housing, IP litigation and private business.

6. TLT belongs to European Law Firm (ELF), an international network that enables the firm to provide high quality and good value legal services throughout Europe and the world.

7. To actively support communities local to its offices, TLT offers each member of staff three hours paid leave every month. One of TLT's most popular staff volunteering schemes is a reading buddy initiative in Bristol and London, where TLT staff help primary school children improve their literacy skills and improve their confidence in reading. TLT also participates in the Payrole Giving scheme which entitles employees to make tax efficient contributions to a charity of their choice. The efforts TLT has made to foster a culture of committed giving in our workplace by led to TLT being awarded a Bronze Payroll Giving Quality Mark Award for commitment to good causes and the local community. In addition, every year TLT staff nominate a charity upon which to focus their support. TLT's charity of the year for 2010/11 is Alive! a charity dedicated to connecting with people now living in residential care.

8. TLT has an Environmental Action Committee, led by Senior Management and with representatives from every part of the firm, which has responsibility for creating and implementing energy saving initiatives. TLT was one of the first firms of its size to do this (in 2007).

9. To encourage diversity within the firm and raise awareness of equality and diversity issues all TLT staff complete diversity training. The firm has a partner responsible for driving forward the diversity agenda to ensure that the firm's equal opportunities and diversity agendas are comprehensive, fully communicated and implemented to every employee of TLT. This includes supporting Bylaw, an inclusive network and support environment for lesbian, gay and bisexual people working or looking to work in the legal sector. TLT has also recently been awarded the Disability Symbol by JobCentre Plus for the firm's positive approach to creating a diverse workforce. The Disability Symbol demonstrates to both current and potential employees that TLT has a positive attitude to the employment and development of people with disabilities.

10. TLT was created in 2000, following the merger of Lawrence Tucketts and Trumps. In 2005, TLT acquired niche banking and financial services practice Lawrence Jones and expanded into London, and in 2007 TLT acquired international commercial firm Constant & Constant, accelerating its growth in London.
